THE PIECE
Originally made as a hardworking utilitarian piece, this stool has been worn down through generations of use. The massive wood top has developed deep cracks, texture, and an incredible aged surface that simply can’t be replicated. A heavy antique French primitive stool fashioned from a thick section of solid wood with three simple legs. The deeply worn top, cracks, old tool marks, and irregular edges give it an almost sculptural quality.
